In addition to this public institution, there are numerous private universities that offer degree programs for specialized fields such as theology or international relations. Benin also has several technical colleges offering certificate programs in various fields such as automotive technology, carpentry, construction technology or hospitality management. There are also private schools which offer international curriculums such as International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
